Ghostwalk - Stott
March 14th, 2010

This book was amazing! I loved every word. I found it to be the perfect mix of historical fiction (but very well-researched so there was very little fiction), mystery and romance. But a non-traditional romance, not a yucky romance.
I have no idea where I came across this book, but it was on my library list and I noticed it was on the shelves of our new library so I picked it up. (Our regular library which is walking distance has closed for renovations for the next year. Our next closest is about a 10 minute drive away. It’s funny because not only did the city close our neighbourhood library down, but they closed the four surrounding libraries as well. There’s an entire quadrant of our city without library service. Seems like poor planning to me.)
Ghostwalk was so good that I felt that I could read it again immediately. I’m sure I would get so much more out of it the second reading. However, I’ve never read a book twice, and I’m not sure I’ll spend the time, but I’m tempted.
I highly recommend this to anyone who loves history and suspense. I really was guessing up until the end.
Enjoying the journey, Amanda
